Retrofitting Existing Buildings

Whether your building needs a system now or qualifies for an extension, MVP Solutions can help existing building owners ensure that they will meet the requirements for ERRC.

Retrofitting Existing Building Services

As more county’s and their AHJ’s begin to enforce the requirements for Emergency Responder Radio Coverage (ERRC) provided by the NFPA and IFC codes, the specter of how to address these requirements also grows for owners of existing buildings.

Whether your building needs a system now or qualifies for an extension, MVP Solutions can help existing building owners ensure that they will meet the requirements for ERRC in their jurisdiction by providing:

  • Testing – The first step to understanding the needs for your current building is by having MVP Solutions conduct a signal test of your building. This test will serve to determine if your building needs a system to enhance coverage; however, if it already meets the requirements the certified test can be provided to your AHJ for documentation.
  • Engineering and Design – In the event your building fails, MVP Solutions will provide a customized design for your specific building. At MVP Solutions we are very aware that building owners have a specific aesthetic that they have designed their building to maintain. We never lose sight of the delicate balancing act of providing a code-compliant system that also blends in with the current design aesthetic. From Performing Arts Centers, Convention Centers, to condominiums, Mike and Daniel have experience working together with the architects or owners to build a system that is just as pleasing to the eye as it is to the RF world.
  • Installation – MVP Solutions specializes in providing turnkey installation for any project, again while maintaining the care that is required to work in a facility that is not a construction zone.
  • Annual Maintenance and Testing – MVP Solutions provides annual maintenance and testing services for any new or existing Public Safety systems. Annual maintenance and testing is a pivotal step to ensure that your system stays in compliance and functional for years after installation, and it is also part of the NFPA code for Public Safety systems.
